Jay Pasternack, H.S.C. Jay is the newest, on site member of the Recovery Counselling Service's team. Jay has developed a superb addiction awareness and drug education programme that we now offer to our young clients. He has extensive experience working with youth and families and relates well with them. Jay is a graduate from McMaster University, Addiction Studies Diploma Program. Susan Raphael, Hons. B.A. Psych., I.C.A.D.C. Susan is passionate about working with adolescents on the road to recovery. As an experienced counsellor, Susan supports young people through facilitating Aftercare Groups and Individual Counselling sessions. Susan is also our Aftercare Coordinator. Through liaising with treatment centres, she ensures that teens receive the best possible support during their treatment experience and transition home. First in the residential treatment setting, and now in outpatient services, Susan has worked with individuals of varying ages who struggle with addiction, abuse, trauma, and co-dependency.
